Sexual Assault & Violence
Violence on the UMD Campus
From the RAINN website, 13% of all students experience rape or sexual assault through physical force, violence, or incapacitation (among all graduate and undergraduate students). Keep in mind as you look at theses tables/graphs, sexual assault and rape are the most underreported crimes, and only 20% of female student victims, age 18-24, report to law enforcement. These graphs only look at the reported sexual misconduct on campus.
